Another one of the titleist wedges is the gap wedge. The gap wedge gets it’s name because it fills the gap between the sand wedge and the pitching wedge. This is what most golfers use when looking for a wedge to play. For amateurs it eliminates the need for opening the wedge to lessen the flight and distance and the inherent risks.
