Caesarean Section - Mother’s choice?
Caesarean section is recommended when vaginal delivery might pose a risk to the mother or baby. Caesarean section is usually a relatively safe operation; however, some of the possible complications can include infection, damage to your internal organs, and an increased risk of respiratory distress for your newborn baby, and possible complications with any future pregnancies.
